Belarus - Gomel to host seminar on human trafficking May 28-29

The representative office of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) to Belarus and the Interior Ministry of Belarus will hold a seminar “Cooperation between governmental, international and public organizations in prevention of human trafficking” on May 28-29.
The seminar is organized within the framework of the project on international technical aid “Prevention of human trafficking: Republic of Belarus” which is implemented jointly with the Interior Ministry of Belarus, BelTA was told in the press service of the interior department of the Gomel oblast executive committee. The seminar aims to enhance the qualifications of law-enforcement officers, to strengthen the cooperation with public and international organizations and also with the law-enforcement agencies of the neighbouring countries in prevention of human trafficking.
Attending the event will be law-enforcement officers of the Gomel oblast, representatives of courts, procuracy bodies, the State Security Committee, border services and public organizations.
